**Our Icon contains twenty-one stars that surrounds the eagle as well as the Angkor Wat. This represents the provinces and Capitol of Cambodia.

**The seven stars on top of the eagle, as well at the seven arrows in its hand, the seven berries on the branch, the seven stripes on its shield, its seven feather on its tail, and the seven colors contain in the icon represents all seven days of the week, in which everyone is born.

**The Arrows symbolizes the ability to  defend the Country, while the branch symbolizes the reconstruction of Cambodia.

**Each of Angkor Wat's windows contain seven bars. God created the Heavens and the Earth in six days, and rested on the seventh. The number seven reoccurs many time in this 12th century temple.

In his beak the eagle grasps a flowing ribbon bearing the party name, the first motto of the United People:

(Sangkhum Khmer Niyum)

These Khmer words are translated "United People/out of many, One", reminding us that out of many Sangkhum Khmer Niyum was born one Sangkhum Khmer Niyum (out of many Khmer people was born one Khmer nation). Out of many people was born one world.

*Above the eagle are 7 white clouds, and many tiny clouds, 7 white stars, and many tiny stars, 21 stars surround the eagle in a circle (on a deep blue field). The words "Seal of the President of the United People" surround the seal (on a tan field).

*The eagle is clutching an olive branch (with 7 olives and 13 Leaves) in one foot (symbolizing peace) and 7 arrows in the other (symbolizing the acceptance of the need to go to war to protect the country).

*In his talons the eagle graps an olive branch representing peace, and 7 arrows representing war. These demostrate our desire of peace but our willingess to defend with might.

*An olive branch in its right talon, together symbolizing that the United People of Cambodia (Sangkhum Khmer Niyum) has "a strong desire for peace, but will always be ready for war."

*The eagle has its head turned towards the olive branch, said to symbolize a preference for peace (signifying peace).

*The 7 arrows symbolizing military might (symbolize the acceptance of the need to go to war to protect the country.
